I’ve started hash tagging many of my posts #thereluctantfashionblogger.  Why the reluctance?  As I look at many other fashion bloggers and the beautiful writing and work on their Instagram, I realize I’m so not good at what they do.  I follow many wonderful bloggers of all ages and have had the opportunity to collaborate with a few. They have been kind and gracious and have styled my dresses and published blog posts and pictures and have done an amazing job.  That’s why I will continue to have them do it.  They’re experts.  They pose well, they look great, they style expertly and I love them. I love what they do with Rohonda dresses.  I actually tend to be a bit lazy with my own styling and really just like the minimum.  I guess, that’s my style, it may be yours as well. I also have a hard time taking seriously posed fashion photos.  It makes me giggle, not sure why. Maybe I just don’t take it all too seriously.  One day I decided to have a few pictures taken in an alley against a plain white brick wall.  You know that kind of pictures that are everywhere right now.  Quickly it went south and here are the very NOT SERIOUS results.........

What I am serious about is that you and I as women feel beautiful and comfortable in whatever style is our own.  Find it, alter it and stick with it.  You don’t even have to have that many pieces of clothing to create a wardrobe.  Too many pieces of clothing clutter my mind and my drawers and the floor if I don’t get them all hung up.  When my kids were little the Garanimal line of clothing was popular and I have to admit, kinda wish it was around for adults.  The idea of the Garanimals was that each piece of clothing had a different animal tag on it.  To make outfits, all you had to do was match the animals tags. Wardrobe geniusness.  How simple would that make life for some of us?  I want an grown up version.  I actually found out while writing this blog and googling Garanimals that they still exist!  https://www.garanimals.com/en    Maybe I should pitch them on the idea of Rohondanimals!
