Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, website, blog. All are effective social media platforms, yet in order to be effective, they need to have engaging and interesting content.  Not sure how interesting this is, but I started with a picture for the website. I stood on a chair to take some pictures, and I really just wanted you to see that, quite by accident, my shoes coordinated with the chair and the fabric on the table. It’s the little things!


My love for red is not quite like the lady on Breaking Bad who had the purple obsession; not yet, anyway.


On a related note, I tend to like red. I like red a lot. My love for red is not quite like the lady on Breaking Bad who had the purple obsession; not yet, anyway.  It’s just a live, vibrant color that brings lots of life. I even have a red couch in one room. And a red washer/dryer. I might need a red intervention.




In fact, as I started my annual Christmas decorating last year, I realized that the colors red, deep green, and gold are actually displayed throughout my house year-round. Christmas colors aren’t much of a decorating departure for me.  Another thing I thought when doing this was, “Why didn’t I solicit my daughter-in-law, who is an actual photographer, to do this?”  I could have fallen off the chair and broken something, like a hip!  I’ll just save her talents for a little bit down the road...
